Can Luke Littler Really Win Every Major In 2026?

Luke Littler is only 19, but he has already won every PDC major played so far in 2026. His list includes the World Championship, World Masters, UK Open, Premier League, World Cup and World Matchplay. If he keeps winning, he could do something no PDC player has ever done before: win every major in the same year.

His next challenge is the World Grand Prix in Leicester from 28 September to 4 October. Littler won the tournament last year, beating Luke Humphries 6-1 in the final. This time, he returns as defending champion and with an even bigger target on his back.

The World Grand Prix is also different from most darts tournaments. Normally, players can start scoring straight away. Here, they must first hit a double or the bullseye before their points begin to count. They still have to finish the leg on a double too. This “double-in, double-out” rule means a bad start can quickly put a player under pressure.

Littler has already shown that he can handle the unusual format, but there will be plenty of players hoping to stop him. He begins against fellow Englishman Luke Woodhouse, while the 32-player field also includes Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Gary Anderson and Stephen Bunting. The prize money has increased this year too, with £150,000 going to the champion from a total prize fund of £750,000.

What makes Littler’s 2026 season so remarkable is how quickly winning has become normal for him. He became the youngest PDC world champion in 2025, and now, less than two years later, we are talking about whether he can win almost everything available. Earlier this month, he also won the Czech Darts Open, beating Humphries 8-6 in the final after getting past Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert along the way.

There are still more majors to come, so Leicester will not complete the clean sweep. But it could take Littler another big step towards it. And with the World Grand Prix’s unusual starting rule, even the best players can find themselves in trouble before they have scored a single point.
